Fire Alarm System Specialist

Job Description: Fire Alarm System SpecialistEstimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
This role involves performing inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. You will document any deficiencies found during an inspection and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular inspections and tests on fire alarm systems to identify any issues or potential hazards
- Maintain accurate records of system performance and defects
- Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to resolve issues and implement improvements
- NICET I certification and ability to acquire NICET level II within one year
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Functional knowledge of Wet and Dry Sprinkler Systems
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to stand or climb stairs and ladders for extended periods
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without assistance
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good written and oral communication skills and organizational skills
- Pass a pre-employment security, drug, and background check
- Knowledge of fire pumps, backflows, and standpipes
