Ultrasound Director

Thomas Jefferson University/Jefferson Health is seeking an experienced Associate Ultrasound Director to join our Department of Emergency Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to lead our ultrasound education program, oversee quality assurance, and contribute to the growth and development of our team.

• Ultrasound Education Curriculum: Develop and implement comprehensive ultrasound education curriculum components for our emergency medicine residents and attending physicians.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure high-quality ultrasound services and image archiving.
• Credentialing and Procedures: Manage credentialing and procedures for ultrasound services, including billing and professional fees.
• Image Archiving: Ensure the secure and efficient archiving of ultrasound images.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with our emergency medicine team to develop and implement strategies for improving ultrasound services and education.

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME accredited EM residency
• Completion of an ACGME accredited Ultrasound fellowship
