Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Focused Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and families in our community.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions, utilizing creativity and evidence-based practices to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and families.
  • Coordinate with outside providers, such as primary care physicians and psychiatrists, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and supervision to ensure ongoing professional development and growth.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in a behavioral science or related field.
  • License to practice therapy in the state of Michigan (LMSW/LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LP, etc.).
  • Experience in completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical notes.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Adaptability, creativity, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
