Role of the Culinary Specialist

As a Culinary Specialist at SSP America, you will play a vital role in the kitchen by:

  • Receiving and processing food orders with precision.
  • Preparing appetizing dishes that meet our high standards.
  • Ensuring the kitchen is well-organized and equipped for optimal workflow.
Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be expected to:

  • Adhere to recipes and maintain portion control for food preparation, garnishing, and presentation.
  • Consistently maintain an organized kitchen station.
  • Manage the requisition and stocking of essential food items and supplies.
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products to ensure freshness.
  • Oversee the setup, maintenance, cleaning, and disassembly of kitchen equipment.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage the cutting and storage of perishables to uphold product quality.
  • Complete all required opening, ongoing, and closing checklists.
  • Take ownership of the quality of food served.
  • Execute general and specific cleaning tasks to comply with health standards.
