Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Bose, where we believe sound is the most powerful force on earth. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will partner with our talented product development staff to deliver new and exciting features for existing and next-generation consumer audio products.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker, and build automation tools. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining CI pipelines to fully automate integration of components across different embedded development teams, building tools that enable release, validation, and publishing of software components for embedded software products, and working across software teams to identify opportunities to optimize and remove potential CI/CD bottlenecks.

We offer a hybrid work model, with onsite work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Framingham, MA. Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain CI pipelines to fully automate integration of components across different embedded development teams
  • Build tools that enable release, validation, and publishing of software components for embedded software products
  • Work across software teams to identify opportunities to optimize and remove potential CI/CD bottlenecks
  • Stay up to date on relevant technologies, plug into user groups, understand trends and opportunities to ensure we are using the best possible techniques and tools
  • Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker, and build automation tools
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with C/C++ software builds and embedded systems (Linux, super loops, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of other software development tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Grafana
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience in DevOps, embedded software development, or build infrastructure
