Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry Unit at Baptist Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing your expertise in critical care nursing to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing your knowledge of critical care nursing principles and practices.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to inform care decisions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and timing.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, maintaining accurate and thorough records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN license in the state of Kentucky or Kentucky work permit.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • 12 Lead EKG certification.
  • Patient Deterioration certification.
  • NIH Stroke certification.
