Lead Physician in Otolaryngology Residency

The Physician Empire seeks a highly skilled and experienced physician to lead its proposed Otolaryngology Surgery Residency program. Located in North Carolina, this unique opportunity offers a blend of professional expertise, leadership, and academic responsibilities.
Salary
We offer a competitive salary package, which includes a base compensation of $250,000 per annum, plus additional benefits and incentives.
Job Description
As the Program Director, you will be responsible for providing administrative leadership and direction to the residency program. Your duties will include:
- Providing direct patient care and supervising residents in clinical settings
- Developing, revising, and maintaining curriculum for the residency program
- Leading performance improvement plans, coaching, remediation, and disciplinary activities as needed
- Oversight and teaching of didactics curriculum to residents
- Ensuring timely updates to the Annual Program Evaluation with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical practice as an Otolaryngologist post-residency and 1-3 years of experience as an APD/Core Faculty member in an approved AOA or ACGME Otolaryngology Surgery Residency program. Publications and grant writing skills are desirable but not required.
