About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Pavement Marking Technician to join our team at RoadSafe Traffic Systems. As a Pavement Marking Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our clients' roadways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Setup and Cleanup: Assist in setting up and cleaning up work sites, including laying out traffic control devices and preparing equipment.
  • Traffic Control: Implement and maintain traffic control measures to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
  • Pavement Marking: Apply pavement markings to roadways, including lines, symbols, and other markings.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and vehicles.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as traffic control or pavement marking.
  • Skills: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Possess a valid driver's license and a flagger certification.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment, and traffic.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and lift heavy objects.
