Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers. The ideal candidate will be able to operate a cash register, process transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area and surrounding areas.
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels as needed.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and security.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.

This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift and move up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate is also required to bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
