- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
Requirements:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- BASIC CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION WITHIN 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT START DATE.
- EMERGENCY NURSE PEDIATRIC COURS must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse license and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or Bachelors Degree or Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma within 60 months of employment start date.
