Job Summary

Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist I to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine diagnostic and vascular ultrasound procedures, including common and special ultrasound exams of moderate complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including common and special ultrasound exams, to capture high-quality images.
  • Provide direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic or special procedures, including assisting with sterile technique.
  • Assess, identify, and respond to patient needs for adjustment or intervention to optimize patient care, image quality, and patient experience.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and family members to provide accurate explanations and instructions.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below.
  • RDMS-OB, RDMS-AB, RDMS-BR, ARRT-SON, ARRT-VS, RVS, RVT, or BLS certification within 18 months.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing priorities. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
