We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Henderson Engineers. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will be responsible for designing and developing building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on projects for industry leaders in multiple sectors, including business, community, grocery & distribution, health, retail, and venue. You will collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure that designs meet client needs and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design advanced building systems, prepare design documents, and perform engineering calculations in coordination with project teams and multiple disciplines.
  • Lead project and design efforts from concept design through completion.
  • Produce solutions to complex engineering problems and complicated design challenges through direct involvement or in an advisory capacity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Expert knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards relating to a broad range of practices, projects and/or program types.
