The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a vital member of the healthcare team at LifeBridge Health, providing technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the PCT is responsible for delivering high-quality care to adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance to licensed nurses in delivering patient care
- Perform various tasks such as vital sign measurement, wound care, and mobility assistance
- Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges
- Participate in patient education and support
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Certified or Geriatric Nursing Assistant course required
- Previous experience as a Certified or Geriatric Nursing Assistant preferred
- CPR certification required
