Primary Duties:
Develop, implement, and oversee robust security architectures for both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures.

Perform security evaluations and audits to uncover vulnerabilities within the IT infrastructure and formulate strategies to mitigate risks.

Create and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to guarantee compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Collaborate with IT departments to embed security controls into the design and development of new systems and applications.

Assess and select security tools, technologies, and solutions to strengthen the organization's security posture.

Monitor and scrutinize security events and incidents, offering recommendations for incident response and recovery.

Establish and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and endpoint protection.

Formulate and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the organization's resilience against security incidents.

Provide direction and training to IT personnel on security best practices and emerging threats.

Stay informed on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies to ensure the organization's security architecture remains up-to-date.

Work closely with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or other industry standards.

Lead security incident response initiatives and conduct post-incident analyses to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.

7+ years of experience in IT security, emphasizing infrastructure security architecture.

Comprehensive knowledge of network security, encryption, authentication, and access control technologies.

Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments.

Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, VPNs, and endpoint protection.

Thorough understanding of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to evaluate complex security challenges and devise effective solutions.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in security incident response and disaster recovery planning.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP) are highly regarded.
