KPG Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical professionals to interpret.
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe positioning
- Administer contrast media and other medications as required for imaging procedures
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
Requirements:
- 1 year of paid experience in the last 3 years in a hospital setting
- Experience with CT scanners and other imaging equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
