Overview:
As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in an educational environment, you will be instrumental in fostering the communication and language skills of students. This role requires collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals to identify and support students facing speech and language challenges, ensuring they thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Design and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and specialists to cultivate an inclusive educational atmosphere.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings.
  • Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies.
  • Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing valuable contributions to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Offer guidance and training to educators and staff on speech and language development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in a school environment is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of professionals.
