Job Title: Welding Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced welding instructor to join our team at Monroe County Community College. As a welding instructor, you will be responsible for teaching courses in welding technology, including basic and advanced welding classes, as well as weld evaluation.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach welding courses to students, including hands-on training and theoretical instruction
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and industry partners
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in welding technology
Requirements:
  • AAS degree in welding technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in welding
  • Hands-on skills in all welding processes, including TIG, MIG, Stick, and Flux Core
  • Welding certification, such as CWI/CWE, is highly desirable
