Job Title: Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psycho-social changes in the patient's condition, and develop effective interventions to address these changes.
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  • Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
  • Compare expected and actual outcomes of care and identify deviations from the plan of care, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • The physical ability and perceptual acuity to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the nursing process.
  • Minimum of one year Neuro ICU (RN) experience within the last three years preferred.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS card (per facility or contract requirement).
  • Successful completion of the Amergis screening for the clinical specialty area(s) in which the RN practices.
