The Transporter plays a crucial role in ensuring the secure transit of clients.
This role operates without a fixed timetable, with duties performed on an "as-needed" basis, including evenings and weekends.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adheres to posted speed limits and ensures all passengers are secured with seatbelts while the vehicle is in operation.
- Complies with safety regulations and traffic laws at all times.
- Functions effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Serves as a mentor and trainer for new team members.
- Engages in a minimum of 20 hours of professional development annually, successfully completes initial and annual physical assessments, and fulfills required training such as CALM and CPR.
- Monitors urinalysis collection processes when necessary.
- Identifies and schedules vehicle maintenance requirements.
- Reports any emergency breakdowns or incidents in accordance with company protocols.
- Completes vehicle inspection documentation as required.
- Contributes to the promotion of Quality Improvement initiatives within the organization.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures, adhering to Federal, State, and TJC standards and regulations.
