Exciting Cardiothoracic NP Position Available in New York

We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed healthcare team. This role offers a competitive compensation of $150/hr and is designed for professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
Assignment Details- Duration: 13-week assignment with potential for extension.
- Work Schedule: 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with a flexible approach to weekdays.
- Work Environment: Hospital setting.
The Nurse Practitioner will manage a variety of cases, including:
- Basic surgical procedures
- Management of surgical drains
- Feeding tube placements and removals
- Assistance with staple and suture removal
- Occasional support with thoracentesis
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Active New York State License
- Board Certification
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in outpatient or inpatient settings, specifically in thoracic surgery
- COVID Vaccination is mandatory
The position requires coverage for 3 shifts weekly, Monday through Friday, with no holidays, weekends, or night shifts. An unpaid 1-hour lunch break is included in the schedule.
