We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist to join our esteemed hospital in Providence, RI. As an Anesthesiologist at our hospital, you will play a pivotal role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care to patients of all ages and medical conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient assessments, surgical requirements, and medical history.
- Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patient vital signs to ensure optimal anesthesia depth and patient safety.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate perioperative care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical practice and patient care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Anesthesiology.
- Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Anesthesiologist.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Excellent clinical skills, interpersonal communication, and leadership abilities.
