Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Advanced Dental Care. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, and positioning them for examination and treatment.
  • Provide information to patients and staff by answering questions and requests.
  • Provide instrumentation and materials to the dentist as needed.
  • Expose and develop radiographic studies, pour and trim study casts, and fabricate temporary restorations.
  • Maintain patient appearance and ability to masticate by cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
  • Help the dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
  • Document dental care services by charting in patient records.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Conserve dental resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Dental Assistant.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; formal dental school program a plus.
