About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Associate to join our team at Hannaford Supermarkets. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are prepared and presented to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge in all areas of the bakery department.
  • Assist in training other associates and perform other functions as assigned by supervision.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan production to maximize efficiency and meet customer demand.
  • Ability to use the RF unit and other equipment as needed.
