About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to join our Space Operations directorate. As a key member of our Agile engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting cybersecure cloud-based solutions and spearheading our government assessment and authorization efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Information Assurance policies and provide program policy compliance oversight
  • Manage the functionality and efficiency of systems running multiple operating systems while maintaining system integrity and security
  • Assess and implement STIGs / SRGs and vendor hardening guidance
  • Lead a team of cybersecurity systems engineers to obtain and maintain relevant authorization approvals
  • Collaborate with independent third-party assessment teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, or an engineering field with at least 10 years of technical experience
  • Aptitude in developing and maintaining Information Assurance policies
  • Ability to manage multiple operating systems and maintain system integrity and security
  • Experience with STIGs / SRGs and vendor hardening guidance
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II+ certification or ability to rapidly obtain
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills
  • Experience with creation and maintenance of authorization relevant documentation
  • Experience conducting SCAP compliance testing and vulnerability scans
  • Experience implementing and managing ePO
  • Existing TS security clearance with DCID eligibility
