About the Job

Pleasantview Nursing Center has an exciting opportunity for a Department Head of Social Services to join our team in Metter, GA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Social Services department, including developing and implementing programs to meet the social and emotional needs of our residents. This includes collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure resident care plans align with medical and social needs, managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Social Services department, and maintaining accurate records and reports as required by regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Social Services department
  • Develop and implement programs to meet resident social and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure resident care plans align with medical and social needs
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory agencies

This is a salaried position with a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
