Role Overview

As a Front-End Developer, you will play a crucial role within our development team, tasked with crafting responsive and efficient user interfaces. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced, agile setting and have a robust background in JavaScript development, particularly with frameworks such as React and Vue.

This position is a contract role that allows for remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product, design, and development teams to gather business requirements and user experience objectives.
  • Build highly responsive user interface components utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Create automated tests and refine deployment processes to support continuous delivery initiatives.
  • Mentor junior team members to promote skill enhancement and professional growth.
  • Provide Tier 3 production support, addressing and resolving complex issues as they arise.
  • Engage in architecture reviews and assist in defining technology standards to ensure high-quality software solutions.
  • Uphold and advocate for the company's core values in all aspects of your work.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of software development experience, with a strong emphasis on front-end development.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, Java, XML, CSS, HTML, and frameworks such as Vue and React.
  • Demonstrated success in agile environments, with a solid understanding of DevOps and Continuous Delivery practices.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of technical education and professional experience.
