As a Science Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for science and STEM with our creative campers. Our team of experienced counselors and activity specialists guide campers in various activities, including drama, art, science, sports, swimming, and more.
The energy at Camp Kaleidoscope is lively, playful, and warm, making it an ideal environment for both campers and staff to develop lifelong friendships. In addition to our enriching science program, we offer free bus service for staff from surrounding communities during the season, making it possible for staff to receive transportation from their home communities if needed.
This 8-week camp program runs from June 23 - August 15. While we prefer candidates who are available all summer, we recognize that candidates may have other obligations and are happy to work with your schedule. With a competitive starting pay rate of $17 per hour, this is a great opportunity to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our campers.
As a Science Instructor at Camp Kaleidoscope, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of campers during activities. You will also create a fun and joyful dynamic, working in partnership with peers and camp leadership to provide a happy, safe, and memorable summer for the children. Previous instructor experience planning and leading science classes for children is also required.
