Circuit Card Assembler

Sechan Electronics, a 100% Employee Owned organization, is seeking a skilled Circuit Card Assembler to join our team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components onto circuit boards with high precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and solder surface mount and through-hole electronic components onto circuit boards
- Operate machinery to clean and test circuit boards
- Follow work instructions and router operations
- Prepare components for installation, including forming components by hand or automation, bending leads, and preconditioning leads or wires
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to solve problems or ask assembly questions
- Self-inspect product for defects prior to moving the product to the next phase
- Exceptional fine manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as a team player within a small team
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Soldering skills preferred, but not required (training will be provided)
- Patience for repetitive and routine work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to read and comprehend work process instructions, standard measurements, and charts
- Ability to see and work using a microscope
- Fine motor skills and dexterity
Production environment with occasional support in Lititz as required. Hours: Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with every other Friday off. Additional hours as needed to meet demand, occasional off-shift hours may also be required to provide support to operations.
