Role Summary:

The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating lathes, mills, and related equipment to execute various tasks on rolls and other components, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to safety while engaging in hands-on tasks.
  • Set up and operate both CNC and manual machinery for metalworking purposes.
  • Complete Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation and record daily activities.
  • Interpret assembly instructions and blueprint drawings.
  • Adhere to safety protocols consistently.
  • Demonstrate courtesy and effective collaboration with colleagues.
  • Skillfully rig heavy machinery and equipment for overhead crane operations.
  • Train new or existing employees on job responsibilities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Uphold a drug-free environment and a commendable attendance record.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in converting metric and standard measurements.
  • Basic understanding of trigonometric functions.
  • Ability to utilize and interpret precise measuring instruments.
  • Willingness to learn and grasp critical processes and operations in designated areas.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
