CDI MANAGEMENT CORP. is seeking a dedicated MRI Imaging Specialist to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional radiological services. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
As an MRI Imaging Specialist, your primary duties will include:
- Patient Interaction: Conduct thorough screenings of patients prior to examinations, ensuring all safety precautions are observed.
- Procedure Explanation: Clearly communicate the MRI process to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Image Acquisition: Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures, ensuring optimal image quality while maintaining patient comfort.
- Technical Proficiency: Adjust MRI parameters as necessary to achieve the best diagnostic results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to protect patients and staff.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure MRI equipment is clean and functioning properly, performing routine checks and maintenance.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- ARRT registration as a technologist, with current standing.
- A degree from an AMA-approved radiography program.
- State licensure as a Radiological Technologist, if applicable.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience in performing MRI procedures independently.
- Certification in a relevant imaging specialty is preferred.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
