We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Family Medicine team at Ascension Sturgis Hospital. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
Responsibilities- Provide care to patients, functioning within the scope of your license.
- Contribute to patient assessment and ensure patient well-being.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
- Educate patients and families about disease treatment plans, including self-care post-discharge and available resources.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Practical/Vocational Nurse licensure from the Michigan Board of Nursing.
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
- Some experience as a medical assistant.
