Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Infrastructure Solutions Architect, you will:

  • Provide technical and strategic leadership in crafting infrastructure solutions for various client and technology initiatives.
  • Design, estimate costs, document, and develop integrated solutions for on-premises data centers, multi-cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the technologies utilized in our applications to guide implementation, communicate strategies, and educate stakeholders.
  • Mentor other architects and develop automation tools, scripts, and procedures to enhance application performance and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technology options through proof of concepts (POCs).

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop comprehensive infrastructure solutions for client and internal technology projects, encompassing Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, and more.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of business and technical requirements.
  • Validate that designed solutions meet requirements and secure stakeholder approval.
  • Collaborate with teams to create cost estimates and assess options.
  • Guide implementation efforts in cloud and data center environments.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, vendor offerings, and their applications in our products and services.
  • Champion the training and development of relevant skills across teams.
  • Develop and maintain Architectural Standards and technology roadmaps.
  • Engage with teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Expertise in designing, configuring, and deploying complex IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with infrastructure solutions for Big Data, databases, and scalable web-based data analytics platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with on-premises data centers and public/private cloud implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of application performance monitoring and tuning.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in Linux Redhat/CentOS and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with IBM Websphere, Mulesoft, and various storage solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and database management.

Personal Attributes:

Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree being a plus. Familiarity with ITSM, ITIL, and project management principles is advantageous.
