Job Summary: High Desert Medical Group is seeking a skilled Hospitality Greeter to create a positive and welcoming experience for patients and visitors. As the first point of contact, this individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Assist Patients: Smile and make eye contact when greeting patients and other customers, displaying a warm and pleasant personality.
  • Direct and Escort Patients: Have thorough knowledge of HDMG locations and operations within the clinic, directing or escorting patients to the location of their appointments.
  • Offer Curb Assistance: Provide assistance to patients who are not ambulatory, during inclement weather, or whenever a patient has a need.
  • Maintain a Clean and Professional Environment: Maintain a clean and professional appearing work area, including the neatness and cleanliness of suites.
  • Assist with Various Patient Needs: Provide information and assist patients with a Dial-A-Ride or other taxi services, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to Type 20 Words per Minute Accurately: The ability to type 20 words per minute accurately is also required.
  • Knowledge of Basic Medical Terminology: Knowledge of basic medical terminology is helpful.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for this position.
  • Ability to Read, Write, and Understand Spanish: The ability to read, write, and understand Spanish is preferred.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literacy is also preferred.

Pay Range: The pay range for this position is expected to be between $21.00 and $23.46/hr, non-exempt, with the possibility of a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
