The Department of Medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking qualified Physician Assistants for day shift opportunities. Our ideal candidates are compassionate and flexible providers who can manage all aspects of patient care, including taking initial patient histories, performing physical examinations, evaluating and diagnosing patients, developing and managing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting lab tests, counseling patients, and performing medical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Manage patient care, from initial assessments to ongoing treatment and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and other care providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (Accreditation Review Committee for Physician Assistant Programs).
  • Licensed Physician Assistant by the New York State Department of Education.
  • Current NCCPA Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Flexible schedule to cover days, nights, and weekends on a rotating basis.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and a flexible work environment.
