Community Impact:
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering coordinated nursing care to patients within a designated care unit. You will oversee daily management and supervision of clinical activities, ensuring high standards of care are maintained. Your responsibilities will include utilizing your nursing skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide pre and post-operative care for cardiac patients
· Oversee Phase I and Phase II recovery processes
· Critical care experience is essential
· Deliver inpatient care within the Cardiac Procedure unit
· Exhibit strong assessment skills to guarantee quality patient care
· Conduct and document thorough initial assessments according to unit standards, including safety, discharge planning, and multi-system physical evaluations
· Monitor patient lab results for trends and report any abnormalities to the appropriate physician
· Utilize clinical data to inform and implement necessary interventions
Qualifications Required:
- Active Florida RN license or multi-state RN license
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current AHA Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience in Critical Care
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous hospital or acute care nursing experience
- National certification in relevant practice areas
- Membership in a national professional organization
