About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Municipal Engineer to join our team at Robinson Engineering. As a Municipal Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the transportation, sewer, and water infrastructure disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the project planning and design process for municipal projects
  • Assist municipal clients with asset management and long-range capital improvement planning
  • Develop plans, specifications, and project budgets for civil engineering projects
  • Work with municipal staff to evaluate and develop engineering solutions
  • Facilitate permits with regulatory agencies as needed
  • Review engineering plans for conformance with local ordinances
  • Attend municipal board meetings
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
  • Previous experience in municipal engineering
  • Successful completion of the FE exam is highly preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel, is required
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or ArcGIS is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
