Working Conditions

The Certified Medical Assistant - Clinical Support will work in a well-lit, ventilated, and air-conditioned area. This role may be exposed to unpleasant odors, sights, and sounds. Long periods of stationary position moving around the unit are required. Risks exposure to disease, infection, physical strain, and assault. Risks exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, radiation, and antineoplastic agents. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited CMA training program
  • Preferred one (1) year CMA experience in a clinical setting with previous work history considered
  • Current CMA Certificate in the State of Kentucky
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (successful completion within three [3] months of employment)
