Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead our Neuroscience ICU unit. This specialized 30-bed unit allows you to work closely with a dedicated team of 110 professionals, managing a variety of complex conditions such as trauma, epilepsy, intracranial aneurysms, tumors, multiple sclerosis, and spinal injuries.
Your role will involve proactive leadership, exceptional communication, and a keen attention to detail, all while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, facilitating staff development, managing budgets, and implementing care protocols to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of staff RN experience in the relevant specialty is required, providing comprehensive care in diverse situations.
- Alternatively, 2 years of supervisory experience may substitute for the required staff RN experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license to practice in California is mandatory.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
- Additional certifications as mandated for the unit are necessary.
