As a Senior Meat Cutter at Walmart, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality meat products to our customers. Your expertise in meat processing and cutting will ensure that our members receive the best possible experience. You will work collaboratively with other associates to maintain a clean and organized work environment, while also providing exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Meat Processing: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of various meat products, including cuts, seasonality, and equipment usage. Process meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to members, answering questions and making recommendations on meat products. Ensure that merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other associates to achieve business results, including driving sales and improving the shopping experience. Leverage digital tools to make immediate business decisions and adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Quality and Standards: Maintain high-quality standards for meat products, ensuring that they meet company policies and procedures. Eliminate waste and secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
