Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Event Experience Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our event planning department, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events within our stores to provide a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience, and maintaining store recovery standards as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
- Engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by creating an environment of fun and creativity.
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities.
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc., to company standards.
- Communicate events with clients and store team members.
- Complete administrative tasks, including answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed.
- Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs.
- Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed.
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.
- Uphold the company's cleanliness and safety standards. Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.

Customer Service
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience.
- Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
- Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
- Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance.
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
- Support shrink and safety programs.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations; promote commitment to the organization's vision and values; project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.

- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others, including guests of all ages and co-workers.
- Excellent people skills.
- Experience working with children and children's events required.
- Good communication skills, including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication, as well as listening skills.
- Organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Retail and/or customer service experience required.

Work Environment
- Public retail store setting taking care of our customers; all public areas are climate-controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled; some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks; Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Total Base Pay Range for this Position: $15.00 - $17.70
