Compensation Package

This full-time opportunity comes with a competitive compensation package, featuring:

  • A base annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Responsibilities

As a Van Truckload Driver Instructor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Couching and mentoring new driver associates during their training
  • Teaching and assessing the skills required for successful driver associates
  • Conducting hands-on training in both the classroom and truck settings
  • Covering essential training components, such as safety, hours of service, trip planning, workflow, tablet operation, and company policies
  • Serving as a safety advocate and driver retention ambassador for the organization
  • Preparing new drivers for a safe and fulfilling career with Schneider
Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • A DOT physical card
  • At least 12 months of Class A driving experience
  • The ability to effectively coach and mentor in a team environment
  • A positive, professional attitude and the capacity to adapt to change
  • The ability to learn, demonstrate, and train Schneider's company policies and procedures
