We are seeking a highly motivated individual capable of performing a variety of surveying tasks, including site and highway construction layout, MDOT design surveys, control surveys, precision industrial surveying, ALTA and topographic surveys.

Responsibilities

As a member of our survey crew, you will be responsible for assisting the Crew Chief when performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public, private, and governmental clients. Your duties will include operating and maintaining survey equipment, taking field notes, data collection, performing calculations, and working with staff on various projects. You will also be responsible for office tasks, including LiDAR processing, GPS/Total Station data processing, client deliverables, including reports, maps, quality checking.

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field and 5+ years of experience in surveying. A Licensed Professional Surveyor or ability to become licensed per new licensing guidelines is required. Experience working on MDOT projects is not required but is favorable. You must be able to travel locally and nationally based on project demands, with approximately 30% travel. Per diem and lodging is provided for all travel assignments.
