SunVena is seeking a highly motivated Solar Foreman to lead a residential Solar Crew.

The ideal candidate will have solar experience, a good attitude, and pride in their work. Key responsibilities include installation and commissioning of PV systems, providing funding requirements and site photos, maintaining an inventory, team management, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
  • Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel.
  • Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors.
  • Training, managing, and mentoring employees and contractors.
  • Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs.
  • Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures.
  • Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites.
  • Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
  • Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers, and other officials.
  • Maintaining trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with city employees, fellow team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Must show a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in an office or other administrative assistant role or experience in a forward-facing customer service position, in-person and via phone.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, Google Workplace, and utilizing CRM's.
  • Analytical abilities with a drive for problem-solving.
Preferred Skills:
  • Basic office administrative knowledge.
  • Understanding of solar PV equipment and installation standards.
  • Basic knowledge of residential electrical and structural systems.
  • Experience in solar installations.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient with computers and the following applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, and GoogleSuite.
