About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Wilkes-Barre Hospital Company.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of cardiovascular procedures to provide efficient, comfortable, and safe examinations of patients.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures.
  • Provide patient care to all invasive cardiology patients, including acquisition and reduction of pertinent information related to their procedure.
  • Provide didactic and clerical training to employees and CVT students.
Requirements
  • One to two years of prior experience in Cath Lab/Special Procedures.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or registry eligible (by an authorized accredited Cardiovascular Association) to be obtained within 2 years of hire.
  • Current BLS/ACLS Certification.
