Position Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Orthopedic department is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients across all stages of life. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, adhering to the established policies and procedures of the healthcare organization. This role emphasizes professional development and accountability, ensuring high standards of nursing practice are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Provide quality nursing care to patients in the Orthopedic unit.Coordinate patient care activities among assigned staff.Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Minimum Experience Required:
New graduates of a nursing program are eligible to apply.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate License is required.
BLS certification is mandatory.
Additional Qualifications:
For PRN positions, one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
Advanced certification in the relevant specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum).
