Job Description

At Transforce, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork: Function as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
  • Safety and Compliance: Perform all required safety checks, including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and report any safety issues or repairs required.
  • Logistics and Delivery: Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule, unload products from the trailer, and transport items into designated customer storage areas.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Complete all necessary paperwork, including daily records of hours of service, and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Driving Experience: 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
  • Education: High school diploma/GED or state-approved equivalent.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid CDL A, meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable), and pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Physical Demands: Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift.
