Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Big Y. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide World Class customer service and create a pleasant and rewarding shopping experience for our customers.
  • Build relationships with and educate our customers to create sales and promote our products.
  • Verify customer information and ensure accuracy in processing prescriptions.
  • Gather and record drop-off information and prepare prescriptions for dispensing.
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions.
  • Assist patients in finding over-the-counter medications and provide information on product usage.
Requirements
  • Ability to represent Big Y's values and culture through excellent customer service and teamwork.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be available to work varied shifts.
  • Ability to learn and utilize computer applications and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
