Patient Care Specialist

Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our UFlex Float Pool team. As a Patient Care Tech, you will provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients are met.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living and perform procedures for physical hygiene and comfort.
- Work collaboratively with a unit-based, self-directed patient care team to share tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide nursing assistance and support to patients and healthcare staff as needed.
- One year of patient care tech experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Current BLS card (CPR) certification.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant Course.
- Experience with EKG procedures.
As a member of our UFlex Float Pool team, you will have the opportunity to care for a wide variety of Acute Care patients across Northside Hospital's legacy campuses. Our team enjoys self-scheduling and a collaborative work environment.
