About the Role

The Arc Central Chesapeake Region is seeking a highly skilled Lead Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will play a critical role in providing holistic support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement behavioral support plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and individuals served.
  • Provide mental health counseling to assigned groups of individuals with I/DD.
  • Lead and coach a team of Behavioral Health Licensed Clinicians, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the operations of one or more Behavioral Health Counseling Suites, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree in a relevant field.
  • An LCSW-C or LCPC license.
  • At least 5 years of experience providing behavioral supports for individuals with I/DD in community-based settings.
  • At least 2 years of experience in management and coaching of licensed clinicians and other clinical professionals.
