Job Overview

The role of a Bar Support Staff is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the beverage service area. This position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to work efficiently in confined spaces while managing interactions with both team members and guests.
  • Implement inventory management practices, ensuring a First In, First Out (FIFO) system is followed for all products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area to provide a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Utilize communication tools effectively to coordinate with team members.
  • Engage with guests to foster positive relationships and enhance their experience.
  • Prepare beverages according to established recipes and serve them promptly, adhering to responsible alcohol service protocols.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and ensuring proper rotation of products.
  • Safeguard sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Ensure timely delivery of requisitions to support bar operations.
  • Exhibit exceptional service standards to support bartenders and other service staff.
  • Be available for special events and functions as directed by management.
  • Demonstrate effective time management and responsiveness to in-house communication.
  • Maintain equipment standards and report any issues immediately.
  • Adhere to departmental training protocols and sanitation guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses.
